An Hermès scarf from the 1997 reissue of the "A Propos de Bottes" design by Xavier de Poret. This classic design was first released in 1962 and highlights Hermes' equestrian heritage: the brand was initially founded in 1837 as a saddle and harness manufacturer. The scarf features a riding boot motif with the phrase "A Propos de Bottes," which translates literally to "on the subject of boots." The scarf has a navy blue base color with accents in shades of creme, brown, orange, yellow, and red.

Hermès first began producing silk scarves in 1937 and became famous for their elaborate silk screening process, which applies each color one at a time on to the silk. The hallmark of luxury, Hermès has established itself as a timeless brand that will never go out of style!
